If you’re curious about Grand Noir, the best place to start is simply a conversation. DMs are always welcome, and no formal resume is needed here. We hire more for who you are than anything else. Skill matters, but character, curiosity, and how you show up day to day matter most. This probably isn’t your typical “we’re hiring” post, and that’s intentional 🤎 One of the best pieces of advice we can give anyone exploring a new salon is to slow down and take your time. We know we won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s okay. Finding the right fit matters more than finding the fastest yes. Choosing a salon shouldn’t feel rushed. If you receive an offer immediately, it can be a great moment to pause, reflect, and really evaluate whether the environment, expectations, and support align with what you want long term. That belief shapes how we hire: • We start with a DM conversation and may follow up with a short form so we can understand where you’re at and what you’re looking for. • We connect in person so you can experience the space, meet the team, and get a feel for how we work. • We talk openly about skill, communication, and growth in a supportive way. • Before any offer is made, we provide a clear job description so expectations and growth paths are fully understood. • We always encourage time to think things through before deciding. • Once alignment feels clear on both sides, we move forward with intentional onboarding. We take our craft seriously and we also enjoy what we do. We value good hair, clear expectations, teamwork, and building a financially sustainable career in this industry. Our process is guided by our core pillars: character, curiosity, clean spaces, accountability, clear communication, and collective growth.
